Today I share a clear vinyl concert bag made for my eldest kiddo as well as some treasures found at the soon-to-be-gone Austin Antique Mall.
If at all possible, there will be a new Raggedy Rescue on Friday, if not, definitely next week.
Axolotl fabric by Timeless Treasures (currently out of stock at Missouri Star, but available elsewhere).

Love the clear bag you made. Did you use a pattern?
Thanks Jane! I did not use a pattern. I used to make custom bags to sell but it’s been a really long time. This bag is sort of a combination of bags I’ve made in the past with some special considerations for the vinyl, such as the bias binding. I also used a slightly wider stitch than I normally would to help the seams through the vinyl be a little bit more stable.
That vinyl bag is absolutely awesome. The kids must love it! And what a shame about your favorite antique shop closing. Sounds like it was a very special place for you and your family.
Thank you! The bag was a hit and I can’t help but be pleased about that.
We’re so sad about the antique mall. I hope the vendors find somewhere for all of their wonderful wares.
