Today I share a surprise finished quilt. It was even a surprise to me! My energy and inspiration have been loooow, but I always feel better when I am working on something, so here we are!
There are no patterns for Heirloom Applique. The original blocks were made by my great-aunt, passed to my grandmother, and then to my aunt, who gave them to me. I replicated several of the designs using my embroidery software to make machine applique, adding the cats from a drawing by my eldest kiddo. The final design was me trying to make it all work together. I hope you enjoy it!
Interested in my process? I have a playlist of all the videos that includes blocks to quilt!
I forgot to mention my newly re-released free pattern, Turkey Talk!
designed by Jennifer Ofenstein, sewhooked.com
