In this week’s show & tell, I’m delighted to share my finished thrifted quilt! I found the quilt top at Austin Creative Reuse a few weeks ago. The quilting is free motion and was a wild ride due to the hand piecing. I also share a couple of small finishes. Links below!
Hat Pattern-ish!
The crochet hat is made with an H or I hook. For the adult hat I show here, chain ~38 (or as many as you need to reach nose to crown), turn, sc across, turn, ch 1, sc across in back loops only. Repeat until you reach the width you want, then turn, ch 1, slst in the back loops to close, gather the top, tie off, top with a pom pom if you like and you’re done!

- This is the closest pattern I could find to this quilt. The blocks are essentially the same, but the quilt layout is a bit different. Granny Square Quilt from Robert Kaufman.
