Hello, friends! This video is a follow-up from my February 25, 2025 Talk to Me Tuesday Vlog titled “Embroidered Bookworm.” I had several requests for more information on how I am hooping 10″ bookcase quilt blocks that are already made. I hope this little explanation helps!

- Find loads of bookcase blocks (and more!) free for your personal use on Fandom in Stitches.
- Teacup Block Shown can be found here.
- I’m designing all titles for this quilt project using Embrilliance embroidery design software.
- My embroidery machine is a Brother PR1X.
- The magnetic hoop I’m using in this video is by Hoopmaster.
- Stabilizers used:
- OESD cut away. I recommend medium or heavy weight. Use what you have!
- Floriani lightweight adhesive. Use what you have or what works best for your project.
- For marking, I used a Sewline Mechanical Fabric Pencil* in white.
Happy stitching!
