Jennifer, I’m really sorry about your book deal. That is rotten. Your patterns are so cute and what a clever idea to base them all on Sunbonnet Sue! I love, love, love Green Thumb Witch. She’s my favorite. I also really like Long Hair With and the Tooth Fairy! The tooth fairy door hanger with a pocket is genius. I’m always nervous that the Tooth Fairy will wake the kids up. Your door hanger totally solves that problem.
I read on another of your posts that the Sewhooked Shop made money this month! Fantastic! I wish you the best of luck!

Thanks, Elizabeth. It has been quite a journey and it feels like a weight off of my shoulders to get all this information out there and to (finally!) be able to share the work from all this. The patterns were a joy to make and I hope that others enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them.

This reminded me of one of my favorite quilts. A woman in our guild named Linda Cantrel made a pictoral quilt called ‘Sunbonnet Sue Does Hollywood”. I googled it to see if I could find some pics. These are the best I found on someone’s blog. http://quiltedcupcake.blogspot.com/2009/09/sunbonnet-sue-does-hollywood.html
Hope you like….
You know, I never saw all the different Sues until after I started working on mine. It’s one of my favorite traditional blocks and I love that so many people have made it their own!
