Dear jen, I would like to try my hand at the project of doom. so i joined the live journal. but here is the thing im mot too computer savy and cant always do stuff on it id like to ha ha. anyway what exactly is a mystery quilt (as iv never done one) could you explain, how it works? deb
Hi Deb, I’d love to have you play along! A mystery quilt means that you make each piece as we go, but you don’t know what the final product will look like until you sew the final blocks together. Mine won’t be too mysterious, but I think it will be a lot of fun and we have lots of people playing along!
Since you’re part of the livejournal group, if you share any photos with me, you’ll be in the monthly drawing and you can comment on the posts at hp_paperpiecing and receive email notifications if someone responds. If you need any help at all, just let me know!

Hi Jennifer,
I too want to try the Project of Doom and wanted to put your button on my site, but when I try to put it into the gadget url spot it comes up with an error message saying there are illegal symbols in it. You naught girl, or am I the naughty one. Do you know what to do about it? I’m really new at the blogging, and I’m stumped.
Terri
Hi Terri,
Hmmm, I’m not sure what would be causing the gadget to not work. You might have missed a tiny piece of the code, which would definitely cause a problem. I’ve checked it a couple of times now and as far as I can tell from my end, it should work just find. I hope you figure it out!
Thanks for trying, at any rate! And I’m happy to hear you’re going to play along with the Project of Doom (a big scary name for a fun project!).
Jennifer
I loved your little callouts during the video. Yes, it was easy to imagine yu dancing.
Thanks. 🙂 I thought since the video was all funky, the least I could do was entertain you!
