I am a member of Quilts from the Heart Bee of the Coastal Prairie Quilt Guild in Missouri City, TX. We meet once a month and piece blocks from fabric sets that were cut earlier in the month. The completed tops are then quilted and donated to area groups, such as the Woman’s Shelter, Houston Hospice. I also piece quilts for Quilts of Valor.
I quilt for the Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative. http://www.alzquiltz.org The art quilts are auctioned and/or sold (on-line!!) to raise money for Alzheimer’s research and awareness.
