More to do than I thought!

sewhooked to do 2013

While working on my 2013 To Do list, I unearthed yet MORE projects.

Seriously, I stopped counting at 19. Believe it or not, I still have more, but for the sake of my sanity, I thought it best to STOP counting while I still feel optimistic about getting things done!

This is the list I’ve created for my own reference and your amusement. It includes projects from my last Talk to Me Tuesday as well as some other long-forgotten projects that still need finishing.

My goal is to finish as many of these projects in 2013 as possible. Let’s get to it!

Well, that’s it. At least it’s all I can bring myself to post. I have a serious To Do list for this year, but it has not escaped my noticed that many of these are quilts that need to be quilted. So that’s the goal for this year. Get as many of these completely done as possible. Can I do it while taking care of my family, running Sewhooked and Fandom in Stitches, continuing to create new patterns AND having a job? Heh, who knows, but I sure as heck am going to try!!

Do you have a To Do List? I’d love to see it!!

BTW – in Australia and the UK what you call muslin we call calico. Over here calico is an unbleached fabric with no prints. What we call muslin is something like cheesecloth but can come in many colours.

i found this out with our recent birthday blocks swap. People kept asking for muslin fabrics and it didn’t make sense to me so i had to look it up. So now we have a little disclosure so that outsiders like me understand 😉 Something i wouldn’t have thought would need a translation!

They have built up, haven’t they? Some lost steam while I was working on them, but most were put aside for something that had a deadline and then I never got back to them. Time to finish them up!!

I hope you don’t get a bag done with that Mendocino fabric before I finish ANYTHING I’ve started with that fabric ;-D Guess I better hurry up and quilt the small Mendocino quilt top I’ve had finished for a couple years…

Heh… that’ll have to be my February goal. If I can get my butt in gear, I could probably finish that quilt in an afternoon. But it’ll probably take me two weeks just to decide how to I want to quilt it. It’s always an ordeal 😉

I have thought of doing the same thing–dedicating this year to UFO’s. Haven’t even tried counting them yet–might get too depressing. Many of yours do look worth completing. Good Luck.
