Rainbow Cascade – Nudge for Set 13

Welcome back to the Rainbow Cascade Quilt Along!

This is your Set 13 nudge – a friendly reminder to help keep you on track with your Rainbow Cascade Quilt Along.

We have just ONE MORE NUDGE to go!

Remember, Rainbow Cascade is made from a single block repeated in a rainbow of colors. Once you’ve completed your blocks, follow the chart in the pattern to piece your  Rainbow Cascade quilt top.

#rainbowcascadeqal #recycling

I’m in the finishing stages for my own Rainbow Cascade and can’t wait to show you my finished quilt top on April 9! Optional for you, and not included in the original instructions: I will be adding a white outside border to the 70″ x 80″ version I am making to make the blocks “float.”

More #secondarypattern from #rainbowcascadeqal! Even though I still have more blocks to make, I couldn't resist piecing together a couple of columns! #sewhookedpattern free on sewhooked.com. #paperpieced

press seam allowance

I highly recommend using an Add-A Quarter-Ruler during paper piecing to minimize bulk AND to press seams open when piecing paper pieced sections together. You’ll find more instructions in the pattern document.
