2026 is also my year to do things that I want to do. I have spent the last 5 years or so using up fabric collections I no longer wanted to keep (ie Homespuns, civil war, scraps from CTQG, old panels for Linus, etc.). This year, I’m going to sew the new fabrics and patterns!! First up is a patriotic string quilt for my brother, who is a Vietnam vet and has not received a QOV. I love doing string blocks. I’m still planning on finishing a UfO every month and doing my charity sewing, so we’ll see if this works or not. But, at least, I will have tried.
Wow, 5 years is real commitment! Enjoy a year of new patterns new fabrics with a ufo here and there.
