I ran out of time to mention what we’ll be doing over on FiS next year! Lilja is organizing a year-long Lord of the Rings Block of the Month with multiple designers, faces old and new to FiS, to continue the journey. Not All Who Wander Are Lost will be presented through Fandom In Stitches starting January 2013. How exciting is that?!
Learn to paper piece with me now through December with my full-length video workshop available only through STITCHED. You get access to over 20 classes AND instructors and registration is now only $40! Click for details.
Sure hope your kitty gets better. Sick pets can be very hard. I am a hand quilter, and Harry Potter audio books are my favorite to quilt to. I’ve also quilted to LOTR series. I’m currently listening to the Eragon series. Hope you find your new ‘normal’ soon. I know it can be hard.
At this point, we’re just trying to keep him happy and comfortable, but getting well would certainly be the icing on the cake. 🙂
I love working to the HP audio books. I listened to the entire series when I worked on my Project of Doom quilt. 🙂
I’m so sorry to hear Tackett is not improving… these are really fought decision to have to make. Hugs
I debated not mentioning it because I didn’t want to end on a sad note, but so many wonderful people have had him in their thoughts, it felt right to share. You are right, it is not an easy thing, but we will do whatever feels right for him. *hugs*
I have been thinking about Tackett. I am so sorry to hear that he is not doing well. I am wishing all the best for him!
Hugs,
Soma
Thanks, Soma.

Hi!
I know you probably have other, more important (kitty-)things on your mind, so don’t mind my question if it’s coming at an impractical time, but I was wondering if you could pinpoint which lines of Stonehenge you used for your fabulous TABABOM top. I fell in love with the overall texture of that one and actually plan on shamelessly stealing your fabric idea for my own Not All Who Wander Are Lost BOM and wanted to start looking for fat quarters. If you did use a bundle or something, like Adobe Stonehenge or Cobblestone Stonehenge, would you mind telling which one?
All the best to Tackett, I lost a cat to sickness recently (actually, not really, but it still feels recent…) and I sincerely hope your little furball will partake in many TTMTs to come.

Oh, I do wish I could just point you at a specific collection, but I just bought bits and pieces here and there as I needed them. A few times, I had to go hunting a fabric, like the red I used for Smaug. It came from the Peppermint line. There were fabrics from Cool, some from Adobe, and some from Cobblestone. I’m sure there are other collections in there, too. In the end, I ended up with a whole box full of Stonehenge fabrics!
Feel free to steal, I am rather fond of the outcome myself! 😉
Thank you for the well wishes to Tackett. He’s hanging in there and does not seem to be suffering, other than the obvious weight loss.
Well, it was a possibility – thank you! I’m actually pretty grateful already for finding that particular collection; I’ve never before found a fabric collection I’ve liked as much as a whole^^
I guess we’ll hear in your next TTMTs how your kittycat is doing. Again, all the best for him!
