Oh my goodness, it’s OCTOBER which means there are just two more installments of Paper Piecing Vintage!
Today, I share one of my favorite traditional blocks, a log cabin, with a fun light/dark combination that I call Round The Log Cabin.
As with all the blocks from PPV, Round The Log Cabin is entirely paper pieced and both 6″ and 12″ patterns are included.

Save some time by following these bonus directions:
- Save time, pre-cut! For both 6″ and 12″ blocks, you can easily pre-cut strips by measuring the “logs” and adding roughly 1/2″.
- Have fun!
