In which I take five minutes from my crazy week to catch up with y’all. ❤️
I’ll be taking the next few weeks off from Fandom in Stitches. If you need help during that time, please reach out to our FiS Facebook Group. The moderators and group members are an endless resource of good information and support. The Great Pumpkin Quilt Along will continue as scheduled, but there will be fewer posts in general as we transition to our new home.

In which I talk about moving, breaking down my quilt frame, and my poor sick kitty. I failed to include that we don’t really have a diagnosis. The emergency hospital was leaning toward him having eaten something he should not have. I talked to my vet’s office immediately after recording and they want to see him first thing tomorrow.

Well, friends, with the spring weather and lots of people outside, I thought it was a good time to bring my Bicycle pattern out of retirement!

This formerly-for-sale pattern is 6″ or 10″, both sizes are paper pieced. It’s been made many times over the years, and it’s always been one of my favorites. It’s now free for you to make and I genuinely hope you enjoy it!

Hello, friends!
It’s rare that I share a post on both Fandom in Stitches & Sewhooked, but today is one of those days!
By popular request, I’ve updated the Enlarge/Reduce information for rescaling your patterns. Originally, I created a chart using our most common sizes with our most commonly requested adjustments. It’s been almost 9 years since I shared that original post and the variety of sizes available through Fandom in Stitches has changed immensely!
This is not new information by any stretch of the imagination, but I did try to simplify it as much as possible and save it in a format you can come back to over and over. I’m not a math person, but I am married to one, so we had a consultation to make sure I was sharing this correctly!

For the full tutorial, including other helpful print hints, check out my post on how to Enlarge & Reduce patterns.
Most of all, happy stitching!
