TTMT #740 – Several Finishes

In which I share three small-ish finishes. These were super fun, super fast projects, which was just what I needed this past week!

Iliad had surgery last week to remove a bladder stone. It’s been almost a week now and he’s doing much better. He has one more week of cone-wearing. The hardest part for both he and Ramses has been the separation. As soon as the sutures are out, they can be together again!

TTMT #739 – Friends & A Quilt Top

In which I share a little about my very quick visit with Jewells, some new fabric for pjs, a tiny iron, and a pieced quilt top!

TTMT #736 – Just a Block

I didn’t do a whole lot in the sewing room over the last week, but I’m enjoying the process! Today I share the direction I’ve decided to go with my current project using the heirloom applique blocks I shared last week.

Fabric pull for my currently unnamed heirloom orphan block project. (I think I swapped one fabric from the first to second photo).

TTMT #734 – Going Green

This week finds me with ACTUAL show & tell! I have one big DIY project and some sewing to share.

Wonder why I’m still in Texas or what the moving/not-moving talk is about? I made a video about it a few weeks ago.

I also had some Cricut show & tell that I completely forgot about it. Here’s a photo…

Thank you to my Ko-Fi supporters. I apologize for not mentioning you lovely people in my video. My fella’s heart procedure is later this week and I’m a bit all over the place right now. ♥

TTMT #733 – Collage Wall is Back!

Today you find me sitting in front of my new, and possibly improved, collage wall! I’ve been busy unpacking, redecorating, and, gasp, doing some small crafts! Extra cat cameo by Dipper with a long, but totally worth it, cat cameo at the end by Iliad and Ramses. Watch for Those Eyes!

Free Pattern Friday: Quirky QWERTY Alphabet!

As you all know, I retired from selling my patterns in 2019. A lot of patterns were retired with me. I didn’t want to just dump them into the world just in case I wanted to do something with them someday.

Well, after lots of deliberation, I’m pleased to present one of my all-time most popular previously for-sale patterns, Quirky QWERTY Alphabet, a set of 56 easy-to-piece paper pieced patterns for a very special Free Pattern Friday!

I first shared this chunky funky alphabet back in 2015. Since then, I’ve seen these letters used in many wonderful, beautiful quilts, including several at 2020 QuiltCon here in Austin, Texas!

All I ask in return is that you use this pattern set for good. Create a positive message or a one-of-a-kind item for someone with an unusual name. Please don’t make items to sell for profit but DEFINITELY make items to make the world a better place!
