Today’s video is about my Star Trek Quilt finish, as well as a bit about what’s next and a peek at the other side of my sewing room! Stay to the end for quilt photos and an extra special Critter Cameo! 🦉 Bonus points if you spot the anole hanging out on the fence. 🦎
Hello, friends! This week’s show & tell is all about the International Quilt Fest in Houston and the wonderful friends I spent it with. In the thumbnail, you have four TTMT alumni and Fandom in Stitches designers plus future TTMTer Dominae!
Hello, friends! I have a lot of little things done this week, some upgrades, some playing around with clothing, and some machine embroidery! I also share about a surprise trip coming up later this week.
Several years after completing a “Space Swears” quilt as a gift, I thought it was high time to share the individual word patterns.
Each Space Swear is a fictional expletive used in Science Fiction. Currently, I have words for Battlestar Galactica, Farscape, and Red Dwarf. I’m open to other suggestions if you have a favorite Sci-Fi swear!
These patterns were designed & tested by me, Jennifer Ofenstein, @sewhookedjen, and have also been shared over on Fandom in Stitches. They are free for your personal use. Please do not reproduce or distribute these patterns or sell items made from these patterns. Your understanding is very much appreciated.
If you make this, or anything else from my patterns, I’d love to hear about it! You can tag me on IG, Bluesky, YouTube – @sewhookedjen!
As promised, this week I share Jewells’ finished 2018 TTMT Log Cabin Swap Quilt! It was such a joy to get to finish this project for my BFF and I’m delighted to get to share. I also talk about a To Go bag/toolkit I made for sewing supplies.
I spent a lot of time sewing last week, and it’s really helping with All The Things.
Completely by coincidence, or accident maybe, both of my finished projects this week are white shirts, just very different white shirts! Next week, I promise to have some quilty show & tell!
