I realized after recording that I didn’t at all mention what dishcloth pattern I use. This is my go to, it’s easy peasy and they hold up really well!

My Super Simple Crochet Dishcloth

I Hook, cotton yarn
Ch 21 (loosely), sc in second ch from hook, dc in next. *sc in next, dc in next* to end. Ch-1, turn.
Repeat Until Square – sc in first st, dc in second, *sc in next, dc in next* to end. Ch 1, turn.
Optional – sc around evenly, 2 sc in each corner. Finish off.

Stylized TNG Uniform

a free 6″ x 8″ paper pieced pattern

If you’ve been keeping up with my weekly Talk to to Me Tuesday videos, then you know that I recently had the great pleasure of creating a surprise swap for Vanda, TTMTer and Fandom in Stitches Designer. Because she and I are both big Star Trek fans and I decided to create a fun wall hanging out of one of my favorite hand embroidery pieces, the Picard Quote Sampler.

I designed a simple paper pieced block to combine with my Picard Quote Samper. The two blocks together create a stylized Captain’s uniform for a simple but effective wall hanging. Ack! I love it so much!

The Picard Quote Sampler was originally designed for the Summer of Stitching on fandominstitches.com.

I have just a few copies of Quiltmaker’s Quilts from 100 Blocks available in my Etsy shop. I’m happy to personalize a copy for yourself or a friend. Get one before they’re gone!
