Fat Quarter Lotto Postponed

Hello, my friends!

If you’ve been around for any length of time, then you’ll know that every April I celebrate my birthday all month long by inviting you to participate in a Fat Quarter Lotto. You mail Fat Quarters & Orphan Blocks to me and I enter you to win at least 50 of those fat quarters. I give ALL of the fat quarters away on my birthday and the orphan blocks go on to create many, many charity quilts for children in crisis in Central Texas.

To keep you, my friends, as safe as possible, I have decided to postpone the 2020 Fat Quarter Lotto. When the threat of coronavirus has passed, we will have a Fat Quarter Lotto Party, complete with orphan block collection, and the now traditional live stream drawing!

April is my birthday month and you’re invited to help me celebrate by participating in the 5th Annual Fat Quarter Lotto!

It’s super easy – send up to four fat quarters & I’ll draw a winner (or winners) “live” on Talk to Me Tuesday on April 30, 2019. There will be 1 winner per 50 fat quarters. Last year we had two winners with 50 fat quarters each and one winner with 25 fat quarters!

Want an extra entry? Include orphan blocks for The Linus Connection! The Linus Connection is an Austin, TX-based blanket making charity. I use orphan quilt blocks to make quilts to donate. I also share orphan blocks with fellow volunteers to make quilts. Any orphan quilt blocks collected will be turned into quilts for kids in crisis in Central Texas. This collection is personally done by me, Jennifer Ofenstein, and is not sponsored or endorsed by The Linus Connection.

The Sewhooked Fat Quarter Lotto is not a sponsored event and I am not eligible to win. This is just my way to say Thank You for another fun year of sharing! There is no purchase necessary and no obligation to play. I will pay for all return postage.

My first ever LIVE Talk to Me Tuesday. Thank you to my 8 live viewers! Seriously, I was so excited that I had an audience!

A special note to my wonderful Sewhooked Patrons: I find myself needing to take a break in order to finish up some personal projects.

As of today, my Patreon is on hold at least June. This means my wonderful Patrons will not be charged until I turn my Patreon account back on. You’ll be notified first, of course. YOU are 100% in charge of your Patronage.

TTMT #467 – Just a little fabric!

I realized after I recorded this video that the Sleeping Cat was an image I converted to be a machine embroidery design when I first started playing with my embroidery software. I did not draw the kitty, and I have not been able to contact the original artist, so I will unfortunately not be able to share it. Sorry about that!
