31 Days of Halloween on sewhooked.com

Happy Thursday! We’ve got just a few more days left in our 31 Days of Halloween journey and I do hope you’ve enjoyed every step of the way!

Today, we’re revisiting more fun patterns from the massive collection I’ve created over the years and turning their original Harry Potter-ish intention towards things Halloween!

Cauldron Quilt Idea using sewhooked.com free patterns

I’ve taken these two simple patterns, added in Moody’s Magical Eye and my Paper Pieced Bat Pattern, both featured earlier in the 31 Days, and created this fun quilt layout using EQ7!

31 Days of Halloween – Eyeballs!

31 Days of Halloween on sewhooked.com

Welcome to the final Monday of 31 Days of Halloween!

While planning the 31 Days of Halloween, it occurred to me that a whole lot of my Harry Potter themed patterns would work well for Halloween projects. Near the top of the list was Moody’s Magical Eye. I mean, what is creepier than a disembodied eyeball?!

With that in mind, I share not on the free pattern today, but a fun quilt layout that could be created using this single pattern.

Eyeball Table Runner using Mad Eye's Magical Eye pattern (sewhooked.com)

Or, if you need a fun, but creepy table runner, just a few eyeballs will do!

There was a little extra dough so we made Mad Eye Moody. #gingerbreadcookies

While searching my flickr photos, I came across this Mad Eye cookie from last year. Because, Harry Potter, obviously!
