*gulps*

To celebrate this next big step in our lives, I’m giving away one free copy of my new pattern, Faux Mitered Marvel to one commenter.  This pattern was created for my darling daughter and she has given me permission to share it with the world!

That’s it, just comment and you could win! Please be sure I can contact you via your comment. I have to be able to get in touch with you for you to receive your prize!

Faux Mitered Marvel, is a full-color six page pattern complete with fabric chart and instructions, just $8 on Craftsy. The best part is you could feature ANYTHING in the 8″ and 5″ squares.

Redundant Doctors for the Win!

IMG_9408

Are you tired of hearing about the Doctor Who quilt?

This is it, I promise, the LAST post about it!

Despite talking about it in countless TTMT videos, I just had to share one more post in photos. There’s just something about a good picture, don’t you think?

Doctor Who Quilt 2013

Here she is, the finished quilt with all 11 Doctors plus the TARDIS.

I know, I know, even I’m blown away by this quilt!

Doctor Who Stitch Along Quilt

How about a close up of the quilting? I free motion quilted it on my Baby Lock Quest Plus. The whole thing. On a home sewing machine. Yes, I did!

Doctor Who Stitch Along Quilt

My quilting isn’t perfect, but it makes my daughter happy, and since this is her quilt, I’m happy, too!

*sigh*

I just LOVE the geometry. LOVE IT>

Doctor Who Quilt - Label

The lovely label made using Jessica Blacknall’s “50 Years” pattern with the names of the Doctor Who Stitch Along Designers added in the space.

Doctor Who TARDIS pillow and Doctor Who Stitch Along QuiltAnd, because it had to be done, a giant TARDIS pillow to go with it.

TARDIS pattern by me, available on Fandom In Stitches.

My daughter leaves for college on Saturday. These are hers. 🙂

Want to hear more about all this stuff? Watch my last TTMT video!

Because I love this quilt layout SO very much and because you asked, I thought it unfair to not share it with the world!

Here it is, dubbed Faux Mitered Marvel, a full-color six page pattern complete with fabric chart and instructions, just $8 on Craftsy. The best part is you could feature ANYTHING in the 8″ and 5″ squares.

I can’t wait to see what your wonderful creativity does to this surprisingly simple pattern!
