TTMT #694 – The Function of a Rubber Duck

This week finds me answering the mystery of the function of a rubber duck while sharing some gifts made for a friend. I also share some quilting, something AWESOME my daughter shared as well as a piece of art that I am very excited about!

I incorrectly referred to adrianmartinus as “He” (repeatedly! 😬) when they are actually three individuals. I should have double-checked before recording. Sorry about that!

Also! I have upgraded my monthly plan to remove advertising from Sewhooked because it was really bothering me that there was just SO MUCH of it. I will be considering ways to compensate for that in the future.

In which I AM NOT wearing a blue shirt (seriously, how did I manage a blue shirt FIVE Tuesdays in a row?!) and share some finishes plus some goodies I received in the mail.

The yarn used in the blanket is Lion Brand Cupcake in Sand Castle. Unfortunately, it’s discontinued, but there seem to be a few skeins still floating around out there!

Thanks again to Sarah in Houston for the goodies!

In which I talk about pulling ALL THE BACKS for the stacks and stacks of quilt tops I currently have plus share a little crochet.

Also, just a note to apologize for the unbelievable amount of ads that are now on Sewhooked. I downgraded to a less expensive website option when I stopped selling patterns and that’s why there are so many ads. I don’t have any control over the ads nor do I make any money from them. Another option is to subscribe to my YouTube channel. I do include all the same links in the description there. ♥

I’ve changed the way I do my thumbnails over the last few weeks. I’ve also been toying with the idea of not making thumbnails at all. Thoughts? Keep making custom static thumbnails or let YouTube generate one?

This week finds me still sitting after injuring my bad foot. If you want to skip foot talk, go to about 1:40 in the video. Seriously, I explain the whole thing. 😐 Inactivity has found me crocheting pretty much non-stop. I have two more blankets in progress that I didn’t even show today!
