Another finish for ’14 – Mustachio Quilt

It’s been quite some time since I mentioned (or touched!) my 2014 UFO To Do List! These are projects that have been in progress or that I’ve been meaning to start. Most of them have been on my list for multiple years. Eek!

My Mustachio blocks are finally a quilt, with fmq & binding complete at last! This fun quilt now lives at the top of my stairs!

It’s been a month of fabulous and funny mustache names!

Thank you to every single person that submitted a name. Whether your submission was chosen or not, I loved reading them all and sincerely appreciate your ideas!

Today, I have our Week 4 WINNERS to announce!

Each winner receives a free pdf copy of the mustache pattern he or she named, a free fat quarter and his or her name included in the new version of the pattern!

Name That Mustache, Week 1!

During the Great Sewhooked Revamp of 2013, many of my patterns have undergone updates and all around improvements.

Mustachio! is no exception.

A pattern set including 12 paper pieced mustaches, Mustachio! is one of my more ridiculous designs created for my own amusement.

Hey, if you can’t make stuff that entertains you, then what’s the point, right?!

During the revamp process, I decided these mustaches REALLY need names. I love to name the things I make and am not entirely sure how these guys ended up with monikers Mustache 1, Mustache 2, etc. Boo, that’s no fun!

In an effort to make them more interesting and fun, I came up with some tentative names but quickly realized I could really use some help!
