Friends! Progress has been made on the t-shirt quilt repair, and I made a shirt! A whole one that fits who it is supposed to fit and everything! Up this week, LOTS of quilting to finish a birthday gift and a couple of charity quilts that will go back to Jewells.

This week’s Show & Tell is all about Repair & Reuse. I chat about an upcycled Switch case, the T-Shirt quilt rescue project, and a new repair project for an old bag, as well as some odds and ends.

If you’re looking to help those affected by the floods in Texas, these resources have been validated locally.

I am continuing to make updates to my website, especially the pattern and tutorial archives. Lots of older patterns and tutorials have already been added back to the archives with lots more on the way!

TTMT #574 – Graduation Quilt – At Last!

Dear Friends, I can’t tell you how much joy working on this quilt for my son brought me. Even though it’s his undergrad graduation quilt, there are memories going all the way back to middle school through his college journey. This quilt was an honor to make for him.♥

Fabrics used: Andover Constellations (blue) for borders, sashing, & binding. Northcott Cosmic Universe (purple) for the back.

Label designed by me in Embrilliance Stitch Artist with purchased fonts and Clarinet & Tenor Sax machine embroidery designs by JEmbroiderynApplique

TTMT #573 – Short One

Hello, friends! I turned my fan and dehumidifier off to record today. I don’t want you all worrying that I’m in a hot, stuffy garage when I quilt. With the dehumidifier, it’s actually not bad at all!

My kiddo officially “graduated” on Saturday. There was no ceremony, of course, but we’re proud just the same!

And because I forgot to mention it…I had a bit of a belated mother’s day with a socially distant backyard visit with my beautiful daughter and her awesome boyfriend on Sunday. We all sat in the backyard with the firepit (and fire!) between us and chatted for hours. I missed having hugs, but we’re erring on the side of caution to keep all of our loved ones safe.
