Two weeks ago, I told you about Lily, the kitten my sister and her husband adopted after finding her abandoned near my parents’ home out in the country.
This is her story, and our thank you.
We now have all the money we need to pay for Lily’s medical expenses. We might even have a little left over to donate to our local Humane Society.
We quite literally can’t thank you enough.

Here’s a little something I made for Lily. I was lucky enough to act as her post-surgery kitten sitter this week while my sister and brother-in-law were at work. She was a joy to be with every day and I will miss my mid-day kitten break!
Don’t miss my Blog Hop Party Giveaway! I have a free pattern and a fun giveaway, too!

What a darling stocking. Great idea! You are so clever.
Thanks, Barbara! All of my cats have one, too, but I will admit that my craftmanship has improved much and Lily’s came out a little extra cute. 🙂
Sorry for commenting twice, but I just noticed your picture of Lily below the comment box. She looks so bright-eyed and happy after her surgery. I’m glad she’s doing so well.
She’s just doing wonderfully. It’s been a joy to get to be part of her healing process!
Seeing Lily like that, playful like a kitten should be, I have tears in my eyes! Even living far away and never seeing her for real, I already love her! You all did such a great job.
You know, I have seen her every day this week, but watching the video and thinking about the last two weeks brought tears to my eyes, too! It’s been such a gift to be part of all this.
Oh gosh, look at her go! I burst out laughing when she ignored the wand toy and went after the mouse. Yep, she’s definitely doing well!
(That stocking is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.)
She’s been doing just so well, it’s fantastic to get to share her utter cuteness with everyone!
Glad you like the stocking. All of my kitties have one, too. 🙂
Thanks for giving us the opportunity to help her, it’s a sweet sweet christmas story
